About

Shannon is an occupational therapist with experience working across the lifespan in metropolitan, rural and remote communities. Before joining Apricus Health, she worked in senior and team leadership roles, providing evidence-based assessment and intervention for people with a broad range of physical, cognitive, developmental and psychosocial needs. Her experience also includes paediatric occupational therapy, autism intervention and supporting children who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Since joining Apricus Health, Shannon has developed her practice in hand and upper-limb therapy while continuing to support NDIS participants with individualised, goal-focused intervention. She has a particular interest in neurological rehabilitation of the upper limb and helping clients improve their movement, function and participation in everyday activities.

Shannon graduated from Curtin University with First Class Honours and was recognised as the highest-achieving graduating honours student in Occupational Therapy in 2020. She brings a thoughtful, evidence-based and collaborative approach to her work, tailoring therapy to each client’s priorities and circumstances.
