About
Shenaye joined the Apricus team in 2023 as a Therapy Assistant, where she gained valuable hands-on experience across a range of therapeutic and community settings. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) in 2024, graduating with Distinction and developing a strong foundation in evidence-based occupational therapy practice.
Now working as a qualified Occupational Therapist in the community sector, Shenaye is committed to delivering person-centred, evidence-informed care that recognises the unique goals, abilities and challenges of each individual. She works collaboratively with clients, their families and multidisciplinary teams to design tailored interventions that support physical, cognitive and emotional well-being.
Shenaye has a particular interest in assistive technology, home modifications and functional skill development, with a strong focus on promoting independence, safety and quality of life. Her approach is grounded in empathy, practical problem-solving and empowering individuals to live life on their own terms.
