At Apricus Health, we are proud to be a registered provider under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), delivering high-quality allied health services to participants across North Queensland.

We are committed to supporting people of all ages and abilities to achieve their goals, maintain independence, and enhance their quality of life.

Registered NDIS Provider – North Queensland

As a registered NDIS provider, Apricus Health meets the national quality and safeguarding standards. All Apricus Health team members undergo mandatory NDIS worker screening checks and complete the NDIS Worker Orientation module before delivering services.
We deliver services to participants who are:

  • Self-managed

  • Plan-managed

  • NDIA-managed

Whether you are managing your plan yourself, working with a plan manager, or funded directly through the NDIA, we are here to work alongside you.

Our NDIS Services

We provide a range of therapy supports under the NDIS, including:

  • Occupational Therapy – functional capacity assessments, daily living support, assistive technology and home modifications.

  • Hand Therapy – rehabilitation following injury, surgery, or neurological conditions.

  • Community-based Therapy – home visits, goal-setting, therapy delivered in your everyday environment.

Our services are designed to help you:

  • Build skills for daily living,

  • Improve independence and safety at home and in the community,

  • Enhance hand function, mobility, and strength,

  • Access assistive technology and home modifications where appropriate.

Please note:
Specific services available will depend on your approved NDIS funding categories (e.g., Capacity Building, Core Supports, or Capital Supports).
Our team is happy to help you understand how your plan can be used.

At Apricus Health, we do not provide Positive Behaviour Support or use restrictive practices as part of our services. If a client is at risk of harm, we will take immediate steps to ensure their safety and involve a parent, guardian, or support person as appropriate. Where ongoing behaviour support is required, we will refer to an NDIS-registered behaviour support provider.

New to the NDIS?

If you have not yet been approved for NDIS funding, or are in the early stages of applying, we can assist you by:

  • Providing functional capacity assessments and therapist reports to support your application,

  • Helping you understand what types of supports might be available,

  • Working alongside your Local Area Coordinator (LAC), Support Coordinator, or advocate where needed.

We are experienced in supporting individuals and families through all stages of the NDIS journey.
