National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Apricus Health is a registered NDIS service provider. If you have not been approved for NDIS funding, we can help you navigate the system and provide documentation and therapist reports to support your application. The scheme has been implemented by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). Private Health Funds

If you have private health insurance, and depending on your type of cover, there may be a rebate that you can claim through your insurer. Please check with your individual health fund for specific details about what your fund offers. Please advise our reception staff when booking if your cover only includes services of a physiotherapist and we will try and match you with an appropriate therapist.

HICAPS facility is available at Apricus Health for on-the-spot health fund rebate for most heath funds. 

Chronic Disease Management – Allied Health Services Under Medicare

In some circumstances, rebate from Medicare may be available if your GP approves you for the Chronic Disease Management Program. Patients are entitled to five allied health services in a year. A chronic medical condition is one that has been (or is likely to be) present for six months or longer, for example arthritis, diabetes, burns, musculoskeletal conditions and stroke. We can offer both Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy services under the program.

Department of Veterans Affairs

If you are a Veteran with a Department of Veterans Affairs Gold or White card, then you can speak to your GP about getting a D904 referral sent to us, and we will contact you once we have received it to make an appointment.

Workers Compensation, CTP

Clients with approved Workers Compensation Claim, Compulsory Third Party (CTP) are not required to pay for their consultations. We will directly bill the relevant insurance company. Referrals are required and WorkCover patients require an up to date medicate certificate at all times. 

My Aged Care

If you are over 65 then you will be eligible for a My Aged Care assessment and can go to https://www.myagedcare.gov.au/ to make an appointment for an assessment. My Aged Care is a Government portal that supports people over the age of 65 with funding to support them to stay at home for as long as possible. You can request a referral to Apricus Health when you speak to, or meet with, an assessor.

If you are already connected to a community agency such as Anglicare, Bolton Clarke, Right at Home or Ozcare, for example, then you can speak to your case manager about getting a referral to Apricus Health.
