2023 Wrap-Up from Our Founders

By Apricus Health

6th December 2023

As we reflect on the passing year, Cassandra and I are filled with gratitude for another year shared with our incredible Apricus Health team and community. This year has been one of growth, challenges, and meaningful milestones, and we are truly thankful for your ongoing support.

We are delighted to welcome new faces to the Apricus Health family. Our team has expanded with talented individuals who share our passion and our commitment to providing exceptional therapy. Together, we look forward to continuing our mission to support you across all stages of life.

Occupational Therapy Week was a special highlight, allowing us to shine a light on the invaluable role of OT in enhancing lives. Your support and engagement during this week were truly heartening, emphasising the significance of the work we do.

The opening of our hand therapy clinic at the Cowboys Centre of Excellence marked a significant step forward for Apricus Health. Collaborating with such an iconic institution and other allied health professionals located in the same precinct, allows us to expand our services whilst aligning with our commitment to accessibility and convenience.

With growth comes change, and 2023 marked time for a change in our clinic locations as we share the closure of our Domain clinic. We are excited about consolidating our services to better serve you in our other clinic locations in Pimlico and North Shore.

One of the standout moments this year was our team reset day. Taking a pause to invest in our team's well-being and professional development was crucial. We believe that a healthy, motivated team translates to better care for you, our valued clients.

In other exciting news, Joanna was promoted to Vice President of the Occupational Therapy Australia (OTA) Board.  Joanna has been an OTA Board Director for 4 years and now starts her first term as Vice President.  This directorship ensures that Joanna, and the AH Team, remain at the forefront of occupational therapy practice, research and issues affecting our profession and our clients.

As we approach the new year, we do so with optimism, determination, and a deep sense of purpose. Thank you for being an integral part of the Apricus Health journey. We look forward to another year of growth, learning, and making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

Wishing you a restful holiday season and a bright and fulfilling New Year.

Warm regards,

Joanna and Cassandra
